Shmyhal announced the number of individuals in Ukraine who have been exempted from mobilization.

In Ukraine, over 900,000 individuals have been exempted from mobilization.

This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, during a question hour in the Verkhovna Rada, reports "Interfax-Ukraine".

"As of today, the number of those exempted is less than a million—around 900,000 to 950,000 people. This is an acceptable figure. It has remained consistent for a considerable time and does not affect the mobilization processes necessary for the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense," he emphasized.

Shmyhal noted that gas workers in Ukraine are also exempt from mobilization.

 "We have gas workers exempted. Today, the government has introduced a corresponding decision—separately, beyond the norm, repair teams from regional gas companies will be exempted. This decision was made by the government last week, but it will be implemented today," he stressed.
