"The State Logistics Operator" of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has signed a contract with LLC "UT Company" to implement a new model of food supply for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2025.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
It is noted that the pilot project will begin in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, featuring a clear separation of procurement and logistics functions.

According to the Ministry of Defense, this will make procurement processes more transparent and manageable.
As stated in the announcement, the main goal of the project is to optimize interaction among all participants in the supply chain, enhance logistics efficiency, and strengthen quality control of products before they are delivered to military units.
"This is an important step towards modernizing the food supply system. The new format will make the processes transparent, efficient, and convenient for all parties involved. The separation of logistics and procurement functions will ensure higher quality products for our military," emphasized Gleb Kanyevsky, Director of the Procurement Policy Department of the Ministry of Defense.
Additionally, the project includes continuous monitoring of results for further improvement and scaling to other regions.
"We are already seeing significant interest from well-known Ukrainian brands. Thanks to the open selection of producers, military personnel will have access to products familiar to them from civilian life," added Galina Litosh, Director of the Food Program at the State Logistics Operator.
