On November 29, Ukraine destroyed three high-value Russian radar stations in the occupied Crimea, reported the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (HUR) on November 30.
Among the destroyed radars are two 48Y6-K1 "Podlet" systems, each valued at $5 million, and one "Kasta-2E2" radar, estimated to be worth approximately $30 million.
Both "Kasta" and "Podlet" are modern mobile radar systems designed to detect aerial targets at low and extremely low altitudes.
The day before, on November 28, HUR announced that it had struck another "Podlet" radar system in Crimea valued at $5 million.
The intelligence agency claims responsibility for both operations but does not provide further details.
Last week, several explosions were reported across Crimea, with Russians claiming they shot down all Ukrainian missiles and drones.
Fire operations against Russian occupiers' military facilities are ongoing, the intelligence agency assured.
Background. Meanwhile, it has been reported that Russians are launching thermobaric drones along with decoys. Such munitions can penetrate thick walls and strike targets deep underground.
