According to a study by ExPro Electricity, the average daily electricity import from February 11 to 17 amounts to 10,500 MWh, which is double the figure from February 1 to 10.
Data from ExPro Electricity confirms this information.
They estimate that nearly 130,000 MWh of electricity has been imported since the beginning of February, with the largest share—36%—coming from Hungary.
ExPro notes that the reserved capacity for imports is currently being utilized at only 30–40%. Supply during the evening hours is around 1 GW out of a technical capacity of 2.1 GW, despite the demand for electricity during peak hours.
Monitoring data indicates that Ukraine is increasing its electricity imports in February. However, the reserved transmission capacity continues to be underutilized at 100%.
