В Минюсте ожидают восстановления работы всех реестров до конца месяца.

The Ministry of Justice expects the full restoration of state registries that were affected by the Russian cyberattack to be completed by the end of January.

This was stated by Minister of Justice Olha Stefanishyna in a comment to Ukrinform.

According to her, following the cyberattack, she is more cautious about predicting timelines. At the same time, Stefanishyna assured that by January 17, the ministry will have a clear understanding of the situation.

“Although the recovery process will take some time, we expect not to go beyond January,” the minister noted. She added that specialists are currently working on the final stage – the restoration of movable property registries and the removal of encumbrances, which will ensure the complete functionality of all services. The ministry is conducting comprehensive testing of each registry before its launch and is ensuring maximum data security.

To respond promptly to potential issues during the stabilization of the registries, the Ministry of Justice has established a hotline.

On December 19, 2024, Russia carried out the largest cyberattack on Ukrainian state registries in recent times, leading to a suspension of their operations to prevent further threats.

The first registries resumed operations on December 30, and within a few days, the State Registry of Civil Status Acts (DRACS) was up and running. The ministry's website resumed operation on January 8.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the Ministry of Justice had restarted all major services of the Unified State Register (UDR).
