В Казахстане возбуждено уголовное дело из-за украинского флага во время визита Путина в Нур-Султан.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan has initiated a criminal case following the display of the Ukrainian flag on a street screen during putin's state visit to the capital, Astana, on November 27. This was reported by the ministry via Telegram.

In the statement, the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that "all possible scenarios regarding the incident are being considered, including technical malfunctions as well as potential external unlawful interference in the functioning of the equipment."

On November 28, the State Technical Service of Kazakhstan announced that the image of the flag on the LED screen near the capital's "Astana Opera" theater had been "compromised" due to a brief hacker attack.

"On November 27, a case of temporary replacement of the displayed flag image was recorded on one of the LED screens in Astana. According to preliminary data, the attack originated from foreign IP addresses using proxy servers," stated the technical service. The agency is conducting a "comprehensive technical inspection."

The Kazakh online publication "KazTAG" quoted a statement from Mukhtar Bekbosinov, the deputy director of technical operations at "Keruen Media," the company that owns the LED screen.

"At 16:30, on the LED screen of 'Keruen Media,' the cable connected to the upper segment of the RF flag image short-circuited, resulting in the white color being turned off. Consequently, the color tone changed, becoming more vivid under electrical load. Thus, when recording video on a phone, the red color appears yellow during playback for visual contact," he explained.

During putin's state visit to Astana on November 27, a joint statement was signed to deepen the strategic partnership between the RF and Kazakhstan "in the context of a new global order." As reported by "Novaya Gazeta. Europe," Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev described this as "truly a historic event."
