The Finnish company Insta will showcase the Steel Eagle drone with an extended range at the SecD Day event in Helsinki, which was developed for Ukraine in collaboration with Ukrainian specialists.

“If you only work in Finland, you cannot understand what the device should be like,” said Tuure Lehtoranta.
The helicopter-type drone has entered series production. It is designed to neutralize enemy personnel and carries a dispersal charge of steel and tungsten balls. From several dozen meters in altitude, the balls penetrate the roof of both regular and lightly armored vehicles, the portal reports.
According to him, three drones are sufficient to incapacitate enemy personnel over an area the size of a football field. At the same time, the drone is equipped with enhanced electronic warfare capabilities.
As per the Finnish defense and aerospace industry association PIA, there are over ten defense companies in Finland that directly collaborate with Ukrainian firms.
