France has invited Foreign Minister Sibiga to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Rubio in Paris.

France has invited Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha to an expanded meeting of the foreign ministers of Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the EU.

According to reports from several media sources, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio may also attend this meeting.

In particular, Reuters has reported that the meeting is scheduled to take place in Paris on February 12, where the war in Ukraine will be discussed. However, the agency's report states that Rubio's participation in the meeting has not yet been confirmed.

Information about the invitation received by Sybiha is also corroborated by diplomatic sources from Ukrainian media, including the agency "Interfax-Ukraine" and "Suspilne."

If the meeting occurs, it could mark the first high-level negotiations involving representatives from Ukraine and the new U.S. administration led by Donald Trump.

It was reported that on January 20, the U.S. Senate voted to confirm Marco Rubio as Secretary of State.
