В Джорджии сообщили о попытках России вмешаться в выборы президента США.

A video has surfaced online in which a purported migrant from Haiti claims to have voted multiple times in the U.S. presidential elections. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger labeled it as Russian disinformation.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing CNN.

In the video, which appeared yesterday on the social media platform X and garnered over half a million views, the alleged Haitian immigrant asserted that he voted several times for U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential elections.

Later, the original post containing the video was removed from the social network, but copies continue to spread as purported evidence of election fraud in the U.S.

"This is false, and it is an example of targeted disinformation that we have seen in this election," Raffensperger commented on the video.

According to him, the video was "obviously fake" and aimed at creating concern regarding an allegedly illegitimate voting process in Georgia, and specialists are currently investigating it.

"We are asking Elon Musk and the leadership of other social networks to remove this information. It is clear that this is a fake and part of a disinformation campaign. Most likely, it is the product of Russian troll farms," the Georgia Secretary of State added.

U.S. Elections

Recall that on November 5, presidential elections will take place in the U.S. The candidates for this position are the current Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris and former American leader Donald Trump.

Recently, media reported that Harris's lead over Trump in the U.S. election race has narrowed to 1%. Currently, Harris has 44% voter support, while Trump has 43%.
