On the morning of December 25, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that its air defense systems intercepted 59 drones. Among them, 26 drones were reportedly destroyed over the Belgorod region, 23 over Voronezh, three each over Kursk, Bryansk, and Tambov, and one over the Sea of Azov.

As noted by the Russian publication, the previous day, drones attempted to strike the military airfield "Baltimore" in Voronezh, where several drones were allegedly shot down.

ASTRA reports that the debris from the drones reportedly fell on a garage in Voronezh, causing it to catch fire. In the village of Novogremyachye, a downed drone damaged the roof of a residential house.

"There are no casualties, and the airfield is undamaged," the publication states.

The military airfield "Baltimore" is located in Voronezh, approximately 175 km from Ukraine. It houses the 47th Bomber Aviation Regiment of the 105th Mixed Aviation Division. The primary aircraft type is the Su-34, which the Russians use for strikes with guided bombs.

Attack on a warehouse in the Rostov region

Recently, SBU drones attacked an ammunition warehouse at the "Kadamovsky" training ground near the settlement of Novocherkassk in the Rostov region. According to sources from RBK-Ukraine, a powerful explosion was heard at the warehouse, and detonation was recorded.

The Russians used this warehouse to supply troops in the Kramatorsk direction.

It is worth noting that the "Kadamovsky" training ground is one of the largest in Russia.
