Toyota is preparing a new electric crossover, with the first official photos now released.

Toyota is preparing a new electric crossover named bZ3X for the Chinese market, developed in collaboration with GAC. At the Beijing Auto Show in April, Toyota showcased two electric concepts – bZ3C and bZ3X. Images of the latter in its production version have appeared in the database of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

According to the published photos, the new model is nearly identical to the spring show car. A full premiere is expected this month in Guangzhou. Externally, the bZ3X closely resembles the concept. The only noticeable difference is the design of the 19-inch wheels. Certification documents have revealed the crossover's dimensions: it measures 4.6 meters in length with a wheelbase of 2.77 meters.

The interior is not shown in the images, but it is possible that it will also be similar to the show car. Additionally, the concept is equipped with a panoramic roof and a Level 2 autopilot. It operates on an Nvidia processor and receives data from 29 sensors, including a LiDAR.

The electric crossover has a single motor mounted on the front axle, producing 204 hp. It is noted that the 1760 kg crossover can accelerate to 160 km/h. The range is currently unknown. Full specifications are expected to be revealed during the premiere at the Guangzhou Auto Show. The starting price is anticipated to be under $28,000 according to predictions from Chinese media.
