Local budget resources are expected to increase by 15% compared to 2024, according to Shmyhal.

The primary growth will occur due to personal income tax (PIT), grants, and subsidies.

The resources of local budgets will increase by 15% this year compared to last year, reaching 328 billion UAH.

This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, via Telegram message.

"This year, the resources of local budgets will grow by 15% compared to 2024, amounting to a total of 328 billion UAH. The main increase will come from personal income tax revenues, as well as grants and subsidies from the government," the message states.

Almost 12 billion UAH in additional educational subsidies will be allocated for the payment of the "Teacher's Allowance," 36.5 billion UAH in additional subsidies will support the liberated territories, and over 12 billion UAH will be directed to various regional development programs, Shmyhal reported.

According to the Prime Minister, in January of this year, the government has already transferred 12.5 billion UAH to local budgets. Special attention was paid to liberated and frontline communities.

"Today, we are approving the procedure and conditions for providing a subsidy for the Kharkiv budget for emergency recovery work in the housing and communal services sector. The city will receive 1 billion UAH," the Prime Minister noted.
