The Head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, plans to deploy 84,000 residents of his controlled republic to the Russian-Ukrainian war. He intends to send Chechens to the front not through mobilization, but supposedly on a "voluntary" basis.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Center for National Resistance (CNS).
It is noted that according to Kadyrov's claims, Chechnya has "fulfilled all tasks set by the Kremlin to avoid mobilization."
"This means that this number of terrorists has been managed to be recruited 'voluntarily' and that people should be grateful to him for this," the Center emphasizes.
The CNS publication also indicates that the Russian political leadership is unable to cope with the situation, as the war unleashed by Moscow against Ukraine drags on - "and there is a shortage of 'cannon fodder'."
"Therefore, the puppet regime will actively seek any opportunity to send Chechens and representatives of other national minorities of the Russian Federation to the front, serving the schizophrenic ideas of Putin (the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, - ed.) and his entourage," the Center reported.
Recall that earlier in October, it became known that Kadyrov suggested sending traffic violators in Chechnya to the war against Ukraine. He instructed State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov to "take control of this issue."
Additionally, according to Kadyrov, a new battalion is being formed in Chechnya with a strength of 2,500 people, and sending offenders to the front "would be appropriate."
By the way, recently a drone attacked a Russian special forces university in Chechnya. This occurred on the morning of October 29, and a fire broke out in the building after the drone's arrival.
Later, satellite images confirming the attack on Kadyrov's special forces university were released.
