The disappearance of the Il-76T aircraft, which was carrying the Syrian dictator Bashar Assad, is a Russian disinformation tactic.

This is reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

In the intelligence community, it is explained that the "loss of signal" was likely simulated to "cover up" the operation to rescue Assad. According to available data, the "loss of signal" and the entire flight were conducted under the supervision of Russians.

Meanwhile, the Russian contingent continues to evacuate from Syria by both sea and air routes. The former and current commanders of the Russian military group in Syria, Sergey Kiselev and Alexander Chayko, have left the country. At the same time, ships from the Russian Baltic Fleet were involved in transporting the Russian army's weaponry.
