BMW iX, электрический кроссовер, получил значительные обновления: объявлены новые цены и характеристики.

The BMW company has unveiled the updated electric crossover model iX. The electric vehicle has received increased power and upgraded traction batteries.

This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the press service of the company.

With the update, a new M Sport Pro package has been added to the options list, which includes a set of black M Shadow Line decor and original M wheels ranging from 21 to 23 inches in diameter. The color palette for the body has also been revised.

The main innovation in the interior is the familiar round steering wheel and optional M Multifunction front seats with enhanced lateral support and striking design. They feature a combination of microfiber and Sensatec synthetic leather upholstery, with natural leather trim available for an extra charge. The iDrive media system has been updated to BMW OS 8.5 with an improved voice assistant.

The lineup consists of three all-wheel-drive modifications, which have become more powerful and thus received new designations. Instead of the base version xDrive40, there is now the xDrive45: the total output of the two electric motors has increased from 326 hp and 630 Nm to 408 hp and 700 Nm. The acceleration time to 100 km/h has been reduced from 6.1 to 5.1 seconds. The xDrive50 variant has transformed into the xDrive60: it was 523 hp, now it is 544 hp. Acceleration to "hundred" still takes 4.6 seconds.

Finally, the version M60 has been replaced by the BMW iX M70 xDrive. The power of the two motors has increased from 619 to 659 hp.

All modifications have also received new traction batteries, and with the updated software, the vehicles have become more energy-efficient. The base BMW iX xDrive45 features a 94.8 kWh battery and promises a range of 602 km on a single charge. The xDrive60 variant has increased its range from 633 km to 701 km, although the battery capacity has not changed significantly. The BMW iX M70 xDrive crossover with a 108.9 kWh battery has increased its range from 564 km to 600 km.

Production of the updated BMW iX crossovers at the factory in Dingolfing, Germany, will begin shortly, with vehicles expected to go on sale in spring 2025. Prices in Germany are already known: starting from €83,500 for the base version, €99,900 for the mid-range option, and €124,900 for the most powerful BMW iX M70 xDrive.
