"Reckless provocation." Ukraine condemned North Korea's ballistic missile test.

Ukraine condemned North Korea's test of an intercontinental ballistic missile, labeling the actions of the DPRK as an irresponsible provocation.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

"This is yet another irresponsible provocation that undermines peace and stability both on the Korean Peninsula and globally," the ministry stated.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded that North Korea has supplied Russia not only with artillery ammunition and ballistic missiles but also sends its troops to participate in the war against Ukraine, deliberately continuing to destabilize the situation.

"The missile test, which reached the highest altitude compared to previous launches, indicates further advancement of the DPRK's missile program. The deepening military cooperation between the Russian Federation and the DPRK raises particular concern and demands an immediate and decisive response from the international community," the statement said.

Ukraine urges partners to take immediate actions against the regimes of Russia and the DPRK - from strengthening sanctions to supporting a victory plan.

DPRK Missile Test

Recall that on October 31, North Korea tested an intercontinental ballistic missile. According to Japanese military officials, the missile flew for about 86 minutes. This is the longest recorded flight for a missile launched by Pyongyang.

According to Japan and South Korea, the missile reached a record altitude of 7,000 km. Analysts believe that such a missile could cover a distance of over 17 thousand kilometers. This enables it to strike targets within Europe and the United States.
