Half of the residents of "Diia.City" have switched to the tax on withdrawn capital (TWC).
This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov at an event dedicated to the 3rd anniversary of "Diia.City".
According to him, TWC is a very important and effective tool for the IT sector, especially for product companies.
"Thanks to the tax on withdrawn capital, they reinvest in development and scale up, create the best conditions for their employees, and launch internal startups. One of the companies producing products for the country's defense industry has built an entire R&D laboratory," the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
The minister emphasized that supporting defense-tech companies in "Diia.City" is a special priority.
"We are doing everything possible so that such companies operate under the best tax conditions, secure their employees, and scale up the production of drones, robots, and other technologies that help eliminate the Russians," he added.
Background. Previously, Mind reported that 240 defense-tech companies became residents of "Diia.City". Until 2022, there were about 20 such companies.
